Martin Chalet, our Chair, met with Helena Dollimore, the newly elected MP for Hastings and Rye, to discuss our campaign to save this beloved pub. The meeting was a positive one, with Helena expressing strong support for our efforts and pledging her commitment to help secure The Bell as a community asset.

Helena Dollimore’s backing is a tremendous boost to our campaign, highlighting the importance of local heritage and community spaces. Her support reinforces our mission to retain The Bell as a place for connection, celebration, and community spirit in Iden.

We’re grateful to Helena for her commitment and look forward to working with her to ensure The Bell continues to be a cherished hub for Iden residents. Thank you, Helena!
