We’re thrilled to share some exciting news about the progress we’ve made toward purchasing The Bell at Iden for our community! Since May 1st, we’ve been gathering pledges for shares in our community benefit society. By the close of the pledge window on June 17th, we raised an incredible £257,500.
This amazing show of support gives us great confidence that we can reach our target of raising £300,000 through shares when we launch the official share offer later this year, likely in the autumn. We’re currently waiting for more certainty on the timeline, as we need to see how the general election and grant situation develop.
In addition to the pledges, we successfully surpassed our goal of raising £15,000 through our crowdfunding appeal. To everyone who contributed, thank you! We’ve sent individual messages to express our deep appreciation.
Your engagement and commitment have been vital in making this happen. Together, we truly believe we can save The Bell and secure it as a hub for our community.
