

May I introduce myself as the Chairman of the new Management Committee of the Save The Bell Project. The Committee of eight local residents was established in November to take the Project on to its final stages of completion.
The Bell Inn Iden Community Ltd is a Community Benefit Society (CBS) registered with the Financial Conduct Authority.
Our CBS has been set up on the advice of the Plunkett Foundation, a national charity that supports the establishment of community-owned businesses.
We have a set of rules that have been approved by Plunkett. These Rules set out how shareholder funds will be managed and how the CBS will be run. Each shareholder will become a member of the CBS and each shareholder will have one vote.

We will send out details of our share offer in January 2026. Shareholder funds will be held separately until the sale takes place.
We will be holding a public meeting in Iden Village Hall on Thursday 18th December 2025 at 18.30 when we will provide additional information about our plans and will answer any further questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you.
