

The community share offer for the Bell at Iden has now closed, having ended on Thursday 12 February.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported the project over the past few weeks – whether by applying for shares, making a donation, attending meetings, or offering encouragement. We are delighted with the level of backing shown and the progress made towards securing the future of the Bell.
The offer has met its fundraising aim and we will confirm the final total once any remaining payments have been fully reconciled.
Although the share offer is now closed and we are no longer accepting new share applications, the option to make a donation will remain open for anyone who would still like to support the society’s associated costs, such as legal and purchase expenses.
What happens next?
Now that the offer has closed, the management board will meet to complete the formal next steps required under the society’s rules. This will include:
Once this process has been completed, we will contact all applicants directly with confirmation of share issuance and the next administrative steps, including share certificates.
At this stage, no further action is required from those who have applied and paid for shares.
When will the final total be confirmed?
As some payments may still be in the process of clearing, we expect to publish the final confirmed total shortly after the board has completed the formal share issuance process.
Keeping members and supporters informed
As we move into the next phase of the project, we will provide updates in a way that reflects different groups of supporters – including shareholders (who are members of the society), those who have made donations, and the wider community. Major milestones will, of course, continue to be shared publicly.
