Last Wednesday night, June 19th, Iden Village Hall was abuzz with excitement and camaraderie as over 70 people gathered for the Save The Bell Quiz. The evening was a tremendous success, not only in terms of attendance but also in the amount raised for our beloved campaign. Thanks to the generosity of our attendees, we managed to raise over £500!
The highlight of the night was the victory of the team “The Idlers,” who demonstrated impressive knowledge and teamwork to clinch the top spot. Their reward? Six cinema tickets generously donated by Kino, Rye. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Kino for their continuous support of our community initiatives.
On June 18th, 2024, we successfully concluded our crowdfunding campaign, raising a remarkable £15,070. This total includes a generous £5,000 of match funding pledged by the East Sussex Community Wellbeing Fund. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed, both financially and through encouragement and advocacy.
