Update on The Bell

Community Funding Total Confirmed – Thank You

February 16, 2026

We are very pleased to share the confirmed outcome of the community share offer
and donation campaign to help secure the future of the Bell at Iden.

Thanks to the extraordinary support of local residents and the wider community, the
total raised is:

£312,000

made up of:

  • £291,000 in community share investment
  • £21,000 in donations towards legal and professional costs

This is a remarkable achievement, and it represents not only financial backing but a
clear vote of confidence in the Bell’s future.

What this means

This level of support places the society in a strong position as we move into the next
stage of the project: completing the purchase of the building and preparing for its
reopening as a thriving local pub.

What happens next

The management board has now formally approved the issuing of shares in
accordance with the share offer terms and conditions. Shareholders will be contacted
directly with the next administrative steps, including share certificates.
Alongside this, work continues towards completion of the purchase in the coming
weeks.

We will continue to keep shareholders, donors, and the wider community updated as
major milestones are reached.

Thank you

The Management Board
